What I saw on eBay! I’d love it….but its not going to happen…Matt Smith’s Dr costume.

Well when you go to the Dr Who boards and things are suspiciously quiet you know you have found something pretty cool. Coming up for auction and ending next week is part of the UK’s charity effort “children in need” and the Doctor Who production office have done charity proud with a complete Matt Smith costume from perhaps his most important story “The Doctor’s Wife”. Pretty unbelieveable hey!

Unfortunately for most mere mortal the outfit is with four days to go at $13,000. That would probably have been my final bid. Sadly it looks like someone with mega billions is going to win this….and most collectors I know do not have anywhere near this.

Anyway some amazing pictures…although it would be amazing to see interiors of the outfit for all the costume collectors out there…this is pretty much the most amazing item of the year for me.

Nuff said.

Here’s the listing:

Doctor Who’s outfit and signed script.

For all Doctor Who fans this is an exclusive opportunity not to be missed!

The team at Doctor Who have kindly donated the Doctor’s costume, as worn by Matt Smith, in the episodes “The Doctor’s Wife” and “Night Terrors”. This includes his tweed jacket, jeans, shirt, boots, braces, watch and – of course – bow tie.

Matt has also signed the script for a special episode of Doctor Who which will be shown on The BBC Children in Need Appeal show on Friday 18 November on BBC One. As the script is top secret we can’t show pictures of it until it’s gone out on air – but return to this listing on Friday for more information!

All BBC Children in Need auction items will be sent to the winning bidder with an authenticity certificate and will be dispatched within 5 working days of the payment reaching our paypal account and sent special delivery.

Every single penny raised by the auction will go towards making a positive difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK.

Thank you for supporting BBC Children in Need

Happy Bidding!
