Many of you knew I was very excited about this series coming out and it looks like we have a winner here, at least where ratings are concerned for tv show bosses.
Though last week’s edition of “The Walking Dead” predictably lost some of the premiere audience, the AMC hit held steady in the ratings for week three and actually improved with total viewers.
“Dead” garnered a 2.5 adults 18-49 rating with 5.074 million viewers according to Mediaweek, which represents an increase of about 8% among total viewers.
AMC intends on delaying the second season premiere of their zombirific series until next year’s Fearfest, AMC’s annual horror movie marathon. To put it simply: you’re going to have to wait until October 2011 for the second season premiere of The Walking Dead.
Bottom line is THIS is quality television, and I for one salute the entire team. Thank you so much for not letting us down!
