Behind the scenes “Doctor Who at Longleat…the 1983 auction”

Some say this was a mythical event…..but no it actually happened and here is the footage to prove it!

Perhaps one of the earliest events where “Who” props were sold en mass footage has started turning up on youtube and I wanted to collect some of it together for you readers so you could see (1) How cheap it all went and (2) just want an amazing event it was fullstop.

Here is a particularly eye opening section on this wonderful documentary filmed in 2001. The piece starts at 3:00 minutes in but watch the whole documentary…its very well done.
